Hello there, and thank you for checking out my blog.

My name is Laura and I am a bookstagramer and book blogger from Melbourne, Australia. When my nose is not buried in ink-stained pages reading, I’m probably researching some strange historical fact or helping to find some obscure snippet of information. I currently have the privilege of working as a library officer, and am in the process of finishing my Masters of Information Management toward becoming a librarian, graduating with a BA in History and Anthropology in 2020.

I have been a reader for as long as I can remember, always encouraged by everyone around me to read as much as possible and growing up in a household whose shared activities nearly always involved literature of some kind. Since April 2017, I have been combining my love of photography and books on Instagram and at the end of 2018 began this blog to share a more in-depth look at what I'm reading and to discuss anything related to books.
